The Inside Sales Associate reports to the Company’s co-founder and President and will lead the design of Clarus Power’s inside sales process. This position is critical to the company’s success.
The ideal candidate will act with a sense of urgency and be action oriented. They will work well in an unstructured environment with a focus on creating an early stage program and the metrics to track that program’s success. A self-starter is a must.

Communicate: describe Clarus Power’s various solar options to homeowners addressing their concerns, gaining their commitment, and guiding them through the enrollment process.
Design: have an excitement about a hands on role in designing Clarus Power’s inside sales process and strategy.
Train, Manage and Mentor: as the team grows, train, manage and mentor incoming inside sales consultants.
Scale: help scale the team and shape the company’s long-term vision for the inside sales function.
Experience and qualifications:
- 3+ years of solar inside sales experience
- Goal oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Detail oriented with a strong ability to follow up with customers
- A self-started with the ability to meet multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment
- Highly proficient in working with CRMs
- Ability to communicate with senior management about performance and resource requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
